Georgian House Authentic Restaurant Downtown – Authentic Georgian Cuisine & Wine in Toronto

Georgian cuisine is one of my favorites, and this restaurant represents it very well! Went for the first time and was not disappointed. Food is very very delicious and Georgian wine is the best! Tip notch service. There’s live music as well and it adds to the great atmosphere.

Amazing flavours and real authentic Georgian food. The Georgian music, the little decoration inspired by Georgian alphabet and little cultural touches throughout the space made the whole experience wonderful. We ordered Georgia wine (Saperavi) and it was like I was back in Tbilisi again. The wonderful Dachi, our kind and generous server, was a Georgian hospitality exemplary. I can’t wait to go back again. Wonderful experience! Thanks a lot Dachi for an unforgettable dinner experience!

We had dinner at this Georgian restaurant and were very pleased with the experience. We ordered khinkali with cheese and with a beef-pork mix. The khinkali were excellent: juicy, flavorful, and with properly made dough. I tried the cheese-filled ones for the first time and they turned out surprisingly good. We also had an Imeretian khachapuri, which was very tasty, and the portions are quite generous, so we wouldn’t have been able to handle additional Adjarian khachapuri afterward. My wife had a glass of Kindzmarauli, and I ordered pomegranate juice. Both drinks were of good quality, and the juice was fresh. We shared one dessert, which was just the right amount. The atmosphere was calm, with very few people in the evening. From what we saw on their Instagram, they seem to have live music on Fridays through Sundays, though we didn’t catch it ourselves. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a cozy place with great food and pleasant service. We can definitely recommend it.

I had wonderful experience in Georgian house restaurant. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. Cheese lover like me was amazed by the Adjaruli Khachapuri. The traditional georgian salad was great too, its taste was was unique. The first time I went there during Saturday without reservation, it was a disappointment, as it was so full. I had to go there again. After dinning there, I understand why. If you go there in the weekend, do make a reservation.

Delicious food, great service, lovely live music and very reasonable prices. Georgian wine list is good and provides a choice for any budget. Table reservation was easy and the restaurant follow up to confirm the details. If you are planning on a business or networking dinner, I'd recommend asking a table away from the live music area, as it would be difficult to have a conversation. Overall very happy and definitely coming back

My husband and I had been looking for a Georgian restaurant for a long time — something that would bring back the nostalgia of our trip to Georgia. We finally found Georgian House, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is wonderful — cozy, beautifully decorated, and welcoming. The owners opened the restaurant just six months ago, and they’re already doing an amazing job. We were served by Diana, who was incredibly polite and helpful. She recommended dishes to try and gave us great suggestions. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious — every single dish! We were so happy we decided to visit this place, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Shawarma Mix Plate, Shawarma Chicken Wrap, and Vazir Kabab, and everything was absolutely delicious! The mix plate had the perfect balance of flavors — tender meat, fluffy rice, and fresh sides. The chicken wrap was juicy, full of flavor, and wrapped perfectly so every bite tasted amazing. The Vazir Kabab was so soft and well-seasoned — honestly one of the best I’ve tried in Toronto. And to top it all off, their Firni dessert was creamy, fragrant, and not too sweet — the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving real, flavorful Middle Eastern food made with love!
